CloudWize
CloudWize - Motion Graphics
Pre-production:
The client wanted a powerful, visual way to introduce potential users to their Cloud and AI capabilities. The animation needed to be clear and easy to understand, highlight CloudWize as a digital solution, and ultimately draw viewers toward the more detailed pages to learn more. As the client was fairly new to video and animation, we created an action plan early on to define how we’d approach their brand guidelines and tone of voice. This helped ensure consistency across all outputs while keeping the client involved from the start. That transparency meant there were no unexpected surprises and gave us a clear direction when it came to designing assets for the edit.
Post-Production:
Working closely with the brand guidelines and script, we set out to build visuals that captured the key messages at the heart of the project. The storyboard needed impact, but also a strong sense of pace and timing. We’re a bit obsessed with discovering new trends in video, and many of the techniques we used were ones we’d seen working brilliantly elsewhere. This allowed us to back up the initial storyboard with a short teaser animation that gave a clear sense of how the full edit would look and feel.
After sharing the initial teasers with the client and agreeing on a creative direction, we found that the techniques and animation principles we applied gave the video a fresh, modern tone - perfect for a forward-thinking digital organisation looking to stand out.
Were there any new techniques chosen for this specific film? With plenty of creative freedom on this project, we were keen to experiment with some trending animation techniques. A mix of match cuts, shape gradients, slick keyframing, and thoughtful sound design all came together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
The Results:
The client loved the final animation and have since used it across their website and social channels. We’ve been keeping in touch to see how audiences respond, and we’re excited to support some of their upcoming projects!
